In this walking tour we spend the entire day exploring the quarters of the Old City of Jerusalem; discovering it's importance throughout history to the 3 monotheistic religions of the world. Highlights include, Tower of David*, View of Temple Mount, Mount Zion, Jewish Quarter, Western Wall, Muslim Quarter, Christian Quarter, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher., Old City Bazaar.
Itinerary
8.30am: Meet on the plaza before entering the Jaffa Gate
9.00am: Introduction to Jerusalem and enter the Old City via the Jaffa Gate to the Tower of David* for a tour of the citadel and a rooftop view over the Dome of the Rock. Pass the Armenian Quarter on the way to Mount zion
10.15am: On Mount Zion visit the traditional site of the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper.
11.30am: Tour the sites of the Jewish Quarter including the Cardo, Hurva Square, and Broad Wall before going to the Western Wall**, believed by many to be the holiest site in the world for Jews.
1.00pm: Lunch in Muslim Quarter
2..00pm: Walk through the Muslim Quarter following some of the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa.
3.00pm: Tour the Church of the Holy Sepulcher; believed by most Christian denominations to be the site of Jesus' Crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
4.00pm: End the Tour at the Jaffa Gate.

The entire tour is on foot; this is a physically demanding tour.

Please wear clothing that covers the knees and the shoulders, and is not skin tight or see-through for both men and women. Men are required to cover their heads in some sites. headcoverings are made available.
